Descriptive itinerary
The tour to Machu Picchu begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 05:45 AM, to go to the train station in Ollantaytambo. We will then board the PeruRail Expedition tourist train, arriving in Aguas Calientes at 09:15 AM.
In Aguas Calientes, we will take the Consettur tourist bus to Machu Picchu, where we will enter at 11:00 AM for a guided tour on circuit 2 (Classic Circuit) of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Then, we will return to Aguas Calientes by Consettur bus, where you will have free time for lunch and visit the handicraft market of Aguas Calientes.
And at 16:43 PM, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where we should board 30 minutes earlier. In Ollantaytambo our private driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
